IsWhere has collaborated with HuaweiCLOUD in Thailand to launch the ‘ DigitalTempleThailand ’ project in partnership with the Thailand National Office of Buddhism ( ONAB ). The platform enabled 42,000 Thai temples to safely promote temple activities for their mobile users especially around the local neighbourhoods .
Huawei Mobile Services has announced upgrades to Huawei Petal Search , a one-stop search engine to discover and download apps , games and experiences . These upgrades make the search experience more intuitive and result-oriented , and also enable the user to extend the environment to other smart devices .
In addition , over 4,700 local tourist attractions , authorized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand are registered on the marketing platform to promote safe domestic travel under COVID-19 .
Adam Xiao , Managing Director , HMS and Consumer Cloud Service for Huawei Consumer Business Group , said : “ Since the launch of Petal Search , millions of Huawei smartphone users in the region have taken advantage of its extensive range of features .”

BANGLADESH
NEC Corporation has announced it received an order to design clearing house systems in support of integrating transport fare collection systems , a technical co-operation project conducted by the Japan International Cooperation Agency ( JICA ) and awarded to Katahira and Engineers International ( KEI ) and the Japan Development Institute .
This order was placed with NEC by KEI and is expected to contribute to the convenience of passengers by enabling the use of common IC cards for transportation systems in Dhaka City , including the Mass Rapid Transit ( MRT ) system currently under construction .

JAPAN
Fujitsu Laboratories has announced the development of a technology that automatically detects different work elements – for instance , ‘ removing a part ’, ‘ tightening a screw ’ or ‘ installing a cover ’ – from video data consisting of a series of tasks from manufacturing lines and other places of manual work .
Fujitsu has expanded upon its ‘ Actlyzer ’ technology for detecting human movement and behavior from video data and developed an AI model that takes into account the variation of each movement and the difference in individual workers ’ movements , using work data from one person and the data divided by each work element as training data .
