Macquarie Telecom wins back Guild Group Holdings after four years
Macquarie Telecom has announced that Guild Group Holdings has re-engaged its services after a four-year break to implement SD-WAN and introduce cloud-based communication services as the financial services provider looks to improve collaboration between its staff .
The group had previously worked with Macquarie Telecom for network and private cloud services but four years ago scaled back its involvement to voice service capabilities as it moved to another provider .
According to Alastair Latimer , Head of Technology , Guild Group , when 2020 came around , it was time to rekindle the relationship to reenvisage the organization ’ s telephony and networking capability and better align to where the organization ’ s people , applications and data were now located .
Latimer added : “ Our partnership with Macquarie Telecom will provide us with another valued partner perspective in dealing with the changes that filter down from Microsoft . The team can provide a broader perspective into what the potential impacts of those changes might be and insight into factors we might not have even considered .”
Close work with Macquarie Telecom has enabled the organization to add channels and capabilities to its contact center application , including its Session Initiation Protocol ( SIP ) into the solution , further simplifying the use of collaboration tools for the team .

This is driven by the acceleration in Digital Transformation initiatives among enterprises in the country , and the subsequent rise in their demand for high computing power , says GlobalData , a leading data and analytics company .

This will help enterprise server spending in South Korea to grow from US $ 1 billion in 2020 to US $ 1.3 billion in 2025 .”
KT Corp , for instance , launched a new Internet data center in southwestern Seoul in May 2021 .
