JAPAN
Indra , a leading technological engineering company in the aerospace and defence sectors , and Centum Electronics have signed a collaboration agreement to submit a joint proposal to the Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ) to manufacture a space object observation and tracking radar that will protect the country ’ s spatial assets .
The agreement reached by the two companies to combine their capabilities is in keeping with the Indian government ’ s ‘ Make India ’ strategy to support the formation of strategic partnerships with leading companies .
Transatel , a subsidiary of NTT , has announced that its worldwide B2C connectivity service , Ubigi , has been chosen by BMW Japan to be included in its new BMW 7 Series . This agreement is part of the partnership between NTT Communications Corporation and BMW Japan . Ubigi SIM cards will be pre-installed in the car , allowing passengers to enjoy a rear-seat infotainment experience with the 31-inch 8K BMW Theatre Screen , including movies , music and gaming onboard . New BMW 7 Series owners in Japan will also be offered 200 GB pre-loaded Ubigi data for free for six months when purchasing the vehicle to activate in-car Wi-Fi and connect to video streaming services .

SINGAPORE
Addvalue , a Singapore-based satellite communications company and provider of Industrial IoT solutions , has announced it has joined Inmarsat ’ s ELEVATE programme .
ELEVATE is a development programme , ecosystem and marketplace for providers of software , hardware and solutions , and original equipment manufacturers ( OEMs ) in commercial land markets . As a member of ELEVATE , Addvalue will expand its base of Industrial IoT customers and provide even more reliable end-to-end solutions .
Under the agreement , Inmarsat ’ s global L-band network ELERA – a leading satellite network for the Internet of Things ( IoT ) – will be integrated into Addvalue ’ s solutions . This will enhance Addvalue ’ s ability to respond to its customers ’ needs wherever they are in the world .

THAILAND
Yanmar S . P , a leader in agricultural machinery in Thailand , and Yanmar Agribusiness Corporation , have joined in a project to adopt high-precision positioning technology for agricultural machinery in Thailand . This pilot project is aimed at boosting productivity and solving labor shortages in the agricultural sector . The project , supported by Japan International Cooperation Agency ( JICA ) and Thailand-Japan Cooperation Committee , included a demonstration of the operation of autonomous agricultural machinery equipped with GNSS technology at Tha Maprang , Kaeng Khoi District in Sara Buri Province . The project was implemented in line with the Thailand 4.0 economic model , a longterm economic strategic plan focusing on promoting the country ’ s agricultural industry with the aim of increasing productivity and implementing cost reduction efficiencies for Thai farmers through the adoption of high-precision agricultural technology .
