Tata Communications has partnered with Microsoft to provide flexibility in collaboration and connectivity on Microsoft Teams for enterprises in India .
Equinix has executed a new clean energy Power Purchase Agreement ( PPA ) contract in Australia – the company ’ s first longterm renewable energy agreement in the Asia-Pacific region .
The Tata Communications GlobalRapide platform will enable both Indian enterprise users as well as multinationals with a presence in the country to seamlessly make and receive carrier-grade PSTN voice calls on any Teams device , anywhere across the globe , by utilising the Operator Connect platform .
Sriram Sampath , Vice President , Unified Communications & Collaboration , Tata Communications , said : “ Our collaboration with Microsoft will further enhance workforce productivity and efficiency for enterprises , while helping them abide with the local regulations and compliance .”

The announcement is said to signal a broader industry goal of bringing additional clean power to a region where conditions have traditionally been more challenging for executing renewable energy projects .
“ High-impact projects like this are helping to lead the effort to drive local demand and shift markets in regions where there is even more opportunity for decarbonization such as Australia , India and Southeast Asia ,” said Kevin Hagen , Interim CEO of the Clean Energy Buyers Association ( CEBA ).
The Australian PPA is with TagEnergy and includes the purchase of 151 megawatts ( MW ) of renewable energy that is expected to come online at the provider ’ s Golden Plains Wind Farm – East project in 2029 .

ExtraHop has secured $ 100m in growth capital from existing investors in a transaction that is expected to close in early 2024 , subject to customary closing conditions . The news comes on the heels of ExtraHop ’ s strong year of performance – ending 2023 with approximately $ 200 million in ARR and industry recognition for its innovative technology .

The new capabilities for protecting private 5G networks focus on supporting advanced wireless needs for the telecom industry , systems integrators and private 5G network users .
CTOne says its SecureRAN solution is designed specifically to enhance the overall resilience of information and communication technology ( IT and CT ) systems by safeguarding key elements in O-RAN systems .
The solution proactively monitors for unauthorized activities across host servers and critical O-RAN interfaces , protecting the RAN system against malware , ransomware and other attacks .
