Vocus to Roll Out 1.6 Tb / s Technology with Ciena ’ s WaveLogic 6
WL6e will support up to 1.6 Tb / s singlecarrier wavelengths for metro ROADM deployments and 800 Gb / s-1.2 Tb / s over the longest links .
Apart from helping Vocus prepare its network to handle unprecedented bandwidth demands , WL6e will also enable Vocus to drive energy efficiency by reducing the amount of equipment and space needed .
Vocus will deploy Ciena ’ s WaveLogic
6 Extreme ( WL6e ) 1.6 Tb / s coherent technology across its long haul and metro links .
This industry-first coherent optic solution will enable Vocus to benefit from greater costeffectiveness and reliability .

Atturra partners with MyCISO to launch managed security program service
Atturra , has launched a strategic partnership with Australian SaaS start-up , MyCISO , to underpin its managed service for security program management in the education and commercial sectors .
Under the terms of the agreement , Atturra will deploy the MyCISO platform Assess module to underpin its service .
