Nokia and IOH team up to nurture Indonesia ’ s digital talent

Nokia and IOH are to collaborate in providing Bell Labs ’ learning and certification programs to enhance Indonesia ’ s digital talent competencies .

The agreement was signed between Pekka Lundmark , President and CEO , Nokia and Vikram Sinha , President Director and Chief Executive Officer , IOH at the Mobile World Congress 2024 in Barcelona .
As part of the initiative , in addition to the competence development program , Nokia and Indosat will discover potential talents and allow them to visit one of Nokia ’ s research and development innovation labs worldwide .
Sinha said : “ Our larger purpose at IOH is to empower every Indonesian . This collaboration with Nokia made us one of the main collaborators to achieve the aspiration . The agreement also marks a new chapter in the longstanding relationship between Nokia and Indosat .
“ Learning from Nokia Bell Labs will not only introduce young and brilliant Indonesian youth to the latest technological developments but also empower them to play a more active role in the fast-becoming pervasive global digital economy .
“ With the endeavour we administer , we believe we can contribute to achieving the nation ’ s vision of Golden Indonesia 2045 .”

ManageEngine and Check Point to tackle rising mobile threats

ManageEngine has integrated Endpoint

Central , its flagship unified endpoint management solution , and Check Point ’ s Harmony Mobile , a leading mobile threat defence solution , to help IT security teams automate the remediation of mobile threats .
The integration between the solutions addresses the increasing number of mobile threats that continue to circumvent OS-native security measures .
These threats range from traditional malware to more sophisticated phishing attacks and spyware .
The integration also fosters synergy between the solutions offered by both vendors , empowering joint customers to streamline processes for mobile threat detection , prioritisation and remediation .
