BeyondTrust named a leader in identity threat detection and response

BeyondTrust has been recognised as a leader in KuppingerCole Analysts AG ’ s 2024 Leadership Compass , Identity Threat Detection and Response ( ITDR ): IAM Meets the SOC .

In addition to being recognised as an ‘ Overall Leader ’ in the report , BeyondTrust is also named as a leader in the Innovation , Product and Market categories .
The KuppingerCole Leadership Compass is an independent research report with in-depth ratings and reviews to help identity and security leaders choose solutions that can have the most comprehensive impact on their cybersecurity programs .

Macquarie Government selected for Australian defence and national security tech procurement panel

Macquarie Government , part of

Macquarie Technology Group , has been added to the Information Communications Technology Provider Arrangement ( ICTPA ) panel – enabling the Australian Defence Force to procure services directly from Macquarie Government .
The ICTPA has been designed to facilitate IT service buying for defence and related government agencies .
The addition to the ICTPA panel will enable Australian defence and Intelligence agencies to leverage Macquarie Government ’ s sovereign and secure cloud , network perimeter cybersecurity and Security Operations Center ( SOC ).
Macquarie already works with more than 42 % of Federal Government agencies and is the only strategic level-certified provider of both data center and cloud services in Australia under the Government ’ s Hosting Certification Framework .
“ This is a significant step which reflects the trust and recognition of Australian companies investing in sovereign outcomes ,” said Michael Davies , Head of Federal Government , Macquarie Government .
The Australian government recently unveiled an additional $ 50.3 billion toward defence spending over the next decade .
The Government is progressing its national Cyber Security Strategy , in which sovereign capabilities were highlighted as a vital ‘ shield ’ to boost home-grown capabilities and reduce Australia ’ s dependence on offshore providers .
