Digicel Fiji has launched its new Digicel Pacific Starlink Enterprise Internet service .
The service , part of Digicel Fiji ’ s enterprise portfolio , complements existing solutions .

Sales of industrial robots in India reached a new record of 8,510 units installed in 2023 , according to the World Robotics 2024 report presented by the International Federation of Robotics ( IFR ).
The figure represents an increase of 59 % compared to the previous year ( 2022 : 5,353 units ).
In terms of annual installations , India now ranks in seventh position worldwide .
The use of Low Earth Orbit ( LEO ) satellites reduces latency and improves data speed compared to traditional satellites .
Digicel Fiji CEO Farid Mohammed said his team has tested Starlink in different areas to assess its suitability for enterprise customers – with the results showing reliability where traditional coverage is unavailable .
Digicel Pacific Starlink Enterprise Internet is available through Digicel Fiji ’ s parent company Telstra ’ s reseller agreement with Starlink .
“ India is one of the strongest growing economies among the Asian emerging markets ,” said Marina Bill , President of the International Federation of Robotics . “ The operational stock of industrial robots has almost doubled since 2018 , reaching 44,958 units in 2023 . This represents an average annual growth rate of 14 % since 2018 .”
Robot installations in India are expected to grow further in 2024 and 2025 with a contraction expected in 2026 when the Production Linked Incentives program runs out .
