AWS Direct Connect location is now available at Telehouse Osaka , Japan
KDDI Corporation , parent company to Telehouse , has announced the availability of AWS Direct Connect Location at its Telehouse Osaka data center .
Telehouse Osaka customers can now directly access over 240 AWS cloud services , including AWS ’ s generative AI via AWS Direct Connect , a cloud service that links customer networks directly to AWS Regions ( data centers ) through a dedicated network from Telehouse Osaka . This enables low-latency and secure connections to their own cloud environments .
Telehouse Osaka will be the first data center in Japan operated by a Japanese telecommunications company , to provide a dedicated connection point to AWS Direct Connect .
