These modules – People and Profiles , Student Location and Activity Tracking , Communications Management and Resource Management represent a major milestone in modernising BGS ’ s student information systems .

Scholarion , built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform , replaces a legacy system and 42 bespoke applications with a unified , AI-powered , cloud-hosted platform . This innovative solution streamlines school operations and enhances learning and service delivery .

The initial modules provide key functionalities :

• People and Profiles : Serves as the foundation of the SIS solution , providing essential features such as a robust database for managing people and their relationships , comprehensive support for registrations , legal arrangements , medical needs , health records , counselling , efficient attendance management , enrolment capabilities and school staffing functions .

• Student Location and Activity Tracking : Efficiently manages academic schedules , tracks attendance and coordinates in-class events . Seamlessly integrates EDVAL updates for teacher availability and class timetables while efficiently handling room changes and resource allocations .

• Communications Management : Effectively connects with individuals or groups through targeted email , SMS , push notifications and social media posts . Maintains a comprehensive history of communications across all stakeholders , including students , parents , staff and external partners , while enabling efficient bulk or group-based messaging for seamless engagement .

• Resource Management : Optimises resource allocation with a comprehensive view of availability and usage . Manages physical spaces like rooms , labs ,
