Backbase and MeaWallet partner to transform digital payment security in Australia and New Zealand
Backbase has announced a strategic partnership with MeaWallet – a leading digital payments enabler specialising in card tokenisation.
The partnership introduces two innovative solutions that will transform how financial institutions deliver digital payment services:
Mea Push Provisioning: Enables rapid deployment of digital wallet solutions including Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay, significantly reducing time-to-market for new payment offerings
Mea Card Data: Provides PCI DSS-certified infrastructure that allows secure in-app access to card details, enhancing the customer experience while maintaining robust security standards capabilities with Backbase’ s Engagement Banking Platform, we’ re enabling banks and fintechs to accelerate their digital transformation while maintaining the highest security standards.”
The collaboration comes at a crucial time, as digital wallet adoption in Australia and New Zealand continues to rise. All issuers and fintechs partnering with Backbase can now:

Nokia to modernize data center infrastructure for Maxis
Nokia is to significantly upgrade the data center infrastructure of Maxis, Malaysia’ s leading integrated telecommunications provider.
The upgrade is aimed at enhancing connectivity and scalability with Nokia’ s data center switches and Event-Driven Automation( EDA) platform – with the deployment supporting Maxis ' s business growth by providing a scalable, secure and efficient data center architecture.
Modernization of Maxis’ data center connectivity technology will help the company simplify network operations, solve issues faster and automate workloads – all on a robust and secure infrastructure.
Maxis to provision infrastructure resources without delay, reduce complexity and ensure secure applications running in the network can scale gracefully.
