Nota AI and DEEPX sign MoU to lead the on-device AI market

Nota AI, a specialist in AI model optimization and generative ondevice AI, and DEEPX, a leading developer of ultra-low-power on-device AI semiconductors, have signed a strategic MoU to strengthen their global position in the fast-growing on-device AI market.

“ Our strategic partnership positions us as a leader in the global ondevice AI market,” said Myungsu Chae, CEO, Nota AI.
“ Together, we will accelerate the use of optimized AI in a range of industrial applications.”
The MoU is said to highlight growing global recognition of Korean innovation in AI technology on devices and signals a new phase of international expansion for AI solutions developed in the country.
Lokwon Kim, Managing Director, DEEPX, said:“ By combining the strengths of on-device AI hardware and software, we will bring competitive AI solutions to the global market.”
Under the agreement, the two companies will jointly develop AI solutions that combine DEEPX’ s advanced neural processing units( NPUs) with Nota AI’ s lightweight AI models, enabling highperformance AI capabilities even in ultra-compact, low-power devices. These joint solutions will serve as proof-of-concept models for applications in industrial robotics, smart devices, security systems, mobility platforms and more – accelerating market penetration both in Korea and globally.
As part of the collaboration, DEEPX will provide its NPU SDKs and development kits to support optimized integration of lightweight AI models. Nota AI will design and fine-tune application-specific models to meet the different needs of the industry.
