DailiTech and KDDI Thailand Sign MoU to Accelerate
DailiTech and KDDI Thailand have signed a Memorandum of
Understanding( MoU) to collaborate on promoting cloud migration in Thailand.
The agreement strengthens cooperation between the two Bangkok-based technology leaders to deliver comprehensive ICT services that support organizations in their digital transformation journeys.
Under the MoU, the companies will combine expertise across data center services, network infrastructure, cloud platforms and application development. The partnership is designed to help enterprises transition securely and efficiently to cloud environments while meeting evolving business demands.
Thailand’ s cloud adoption has accelerated following the government’ s cloud-first policy and major investments from global providers.
In January 2025, Amazon Web Services launched its Thailand region, enabling low latency services and in-country data residency to support regulatory requirements and performance needs.
DailiTech has supported customers across financial services, manufacturing, retail and startups in leveraging AWS technologies to modernize operations. The company has been recognized as AWS Partner of the Year – Thailand for three consecutive years from 2023 to 2025.
Earlier in 2025, KDDI Thailand established an AWS Direct Connect connection point at Telehouse Bangkok, providing direct, secure connectivity within the data center and through dedicated network links. Drawing on extensive experience from Japan, KDDI Thailand delivers reliable, low latency cloud connectivity tailored to enterprise requirements.
Together, DailiTech and KDDI Thailand will accelerate AWS adoption by offering integrated solutions spanning infrastructure, applications and AI. The companies also plan to jointly develop AI and IoT solutions to drive innovation across industries.
Trust and transparency remain critical at checkout, Visa survey finds
Seventy-four per cent of Asia Pacific consumers already use AI to shop, but trust and transparency remain decisive at checkout, according to new findings from Visa.
As digital commerce and mobile first shopping accelerate across the region, consumers are increasingly turning to AI powered tools for product discovery. The survey shows 74 % use AI to discover, track or learn about products. However, 26 % remain unsure whether AI recommendations align with their best interests, highlighting demand for clearer data use policies and greater user control.
Caution is more pronounced among affluent households, where 39 % report higher expectations around data usage compared with 29 % of lower income groups. Digital first markets including Australia at 38 %, New Zealand at 37 % and Singapore at 34 % also report above average concern.
Trust becomes even more critical at payment. While many shoppers are comfortable using AI to compare prices and features, 32 % are reluctant to share personal or payment information with AI systems. Nearly 45 % say they would be more open to AI powered or agentic commerce if stronger payment security assurances were in place.
Emerging markets demonstrate greater openness. India and Vietnam lead the region, with 42 % of consumers in each market willing to use AI for online purchases. In contrast digitally mature economies such as Singapore and Japan show lower interest at 14 %, reflecting higher expectations around data protection and authentication.
