Fujitsu and Sapporo Medical University launch joint healthcare data portability project

electronic medical records with Apple ’ s Health app under Apple ’ s support .
EHR data stored on the newly developed external healthcare data platform will be converted to a format in accordance with JP Core , the latest Japanese guideline under the next generation standards framework HL7 FHIR for health information exchange .

Fujitsu and Sapporo Medical University have announced the launch of a joint project starting in April 2023 to realize data portability for patients ’ healthcare data – including electronic health records ( EHRs ) and personal health records ( PHRs ).

As part of the joint project , Fujitsu will develop a mobile app that enables users to view healthcare data on their iPhones and a cloud-based healthcare data platform to manage patients ’ health data . This project marks the first initiative in Japan to link
By empowering patients to access their medical data from anywhere at any time and play a more active role in managing their own health , the project aims to contribute to the provision of optimal medical care and services tailored to the health conditions of individual patients while simultaneously improving patient engagement .
Sapporo Medical University Hospital , the affiliated hospital of Sapporo Medical University , aims to introduce the system in April 2023 .

Optus strengthens network coverage in South Hedland

South Hedland residents and visitors have been given a coverage boost as Optus switches on a new tower , providing customers with improved communication and increased network .

The new 4G tower located in Southeast Port Hedland improves the density of the mobile coverage in the Pilbara region and enhances the Optus network for the Port Hedland International Airport , the local community and visitors to the Western Australia mining town .
The local airport welcomes more than 400,000 travellers each year , including the many FIFO workers from across the country who work in the mines .
Paul O ’ Neill , Optus Territory General Manager for Western Australia , said : “ Not only does the new tower deliver improved 4G mobile connectivity , coverage and capacity , but it also provides competition and choice for local businesses and residents by offering great value .”
Ben Marks of Harvey Norman Port Hedland said : “ The new Optus tower has proven high-speed connection for mobile coverage , offering a competitive network choice to stream , download and connect at all times .” Optus continues to invest in improving coverage , reliability , and speed across its Australian mobile network .
