PhonePe selects Cloudera for flexible hybrid data management
Top Indian FinTech platform PhonePe has selected the Cloudera Data Platform ( CDP ) to help shift some of its workloads to the cloud – with the rest of the workloads remaining on-premise .
As a rapidly growing FinTech company , PhonePe recognizes the need to transition to a hybrid data platform as a key business requirement in managing the scale of its data cluster on a monolithic infrastructure .

Macquarie Data Centres site to supersize for hyperscalers and AI
Macquarie Data Centres has confirmed the expansion to its IC3 Super West site .
This expansion gives IC3 Super West the potential to increase its IT load to 45 megawatts – a 41 % increase from its original plans . requirements for higher densities ,” said Macquarie Data Centers Group Executive , David Hirst .
Macquarie Data Centers ’ ambitious growth plans were bolstered by a A $ 160 million capital raise in June 2023 for investment in its futurefocused expansion strategy which involves acquiring sites in Sydney to accelerate growth and support the AI megatrend .
Macquarie will also look to acquire another campus site in Sydney to further increase capacity .
The expansion reflects Macquarie Data Centers ’ ambitious expansion plans to meet rapidly rising demand for AI and hyperscale workloads in Australia .
Analysts say the Australian economy could gain A $ 315 billion by 2028 through the integration of AI .
