JAPAN
BBIX has selected Nokia ’ s IP routing technology to upgrade its network to 400GE to meet the demand of growing data traffic .
BBIX will deploy Nokia ’ s 7220 Interconnect Router ( IXR ) that runs the Nokia SR Linux Network Operating System ( NOS ), allowing BBIX to ensure high-quality network interconnection even as the number of high-bandwidth customers continues to rise . The deployment will start in Japan this year and will be subsequently expanded to other markets , including Singapore .

Australia ’ s InFocus Group Holdings Limited has completed the acquisition of Prodigy9 – a Bangkok based software engineering consultancy firm specialising in the development of data analytics platforms , with deep expertise in fintech , insurance and logistics .
Prodigy9 has built a strong reputation working with leading Thai corporations in insurance , consumer electronics , transportation and fintech .
InFocus CEO Ken Tovich said : “ Prodigy9 brings to InFocus proven software development consultancy experience for large-scale enterprise clientele and a depth of new experience and capabilities across cybersecurity , AI applications , web and app development and more .
“ With early integration planning having commenced months ago , we are well placed to now execute on our shared services single cost-centre model which will centralise all administrative and overhead activities across our business units . This approach will limit duplication of roles and sets the company up for future acquisitive growth .
“ Our internal target is for Prodigy9 to be cash flow generative to InFocus within months .”

TAIWAN
Spingence , a Taiwan-based AI startup , has entered a strategic alliance with ForceSteed Robotics ( FSR ) to promote the adoption of on-premises large language models ( LLMs ) in Japan and develop solutions that prioritize privacy protection , data security and high-performance computing .
FSR , a Japan-based startup specializing in artificial consciousness ( AC ), will represent Spingence in Japan , the two companies will establish a long-term partnership in sales and technology development , aiming to address the key challenges Japanese companies face in AI adoption .
Research shows that demand for AI applications in the Japanese market is rising , particularly for LLMs , which have become a key technology for businesses across multiple sectors . As cloudbased services , which rely on the internet , struggle with data privacy and system stability , many companies are now turning to on-premises solutions .
