Ciena supports Microscan’ s Digital India agenda

Long Distance( NLD) service provider, is planning to deploy Ciena’ s WaveLogic 5 Extreme( W5e) coherent optical solution to improve the capacity, resiliency, flexibility and operational efficiency of its optical transport network( OTN).
With Ciena’ s programmable coherent technology and modular OTN switching capabilities with control plane, Microscan will be able to offer differentiated services with flexible protection and restoration
Microscan will also leverage Ciena’ s Navigator Network Control Suite( Navigator NCS) to automate and simplify planning, provisioning, and assurance operations across its network. Additionally, Ciena’ s 6500 compact 1.2T OTN switching on-a-blade solution with WaveLogic 5 Nano( WL5n) 400G coherent pluggable transceivers will provide Microscan significant space and power efficiencies.
