Vietnam’ s FPT Corporation and Indonesia’ s Bappenas forge strategic partnership

Planning of the Republic of Indonesia( Bappenas) have signed a landmark MoU to advance Indonesia’ s digital transformation – supporting the nation’ s Golden Indonesia 2045 vision.
Under this five-year agreement, the two parties will collaborate on a wide range of strategic initiatives including the joint development of national and sectoral digital transformation strategies – with a focus on enhancing digital governance through the implementation
of e-Government systems, Smart Planning frameworks, and e-Monitoring platforms.
A key pillar of the collaboration is digital talent development. The parties will design and implement comprehensive upskilling and reskilling programs in critical areas to build a future-ready workforce.
The partnership will also drive joint innovation through pilot projects using AI, green tech and smart agriculture to tackle challenges in urban management and sustainability. FPT will offer strategic advice and policy input to help shape Indonesia’ s digital economy, focusing on sectors like logistics, fintech and digital infrastructure.
The agreement also promotes academic and cultural exchange.
“ This MoU is more than just ceremonial. It is a strategic step towards a solid partnership between Indonesia and Vietnam,” said Minister of National Development Planning / Head of Bappenas Rachmat Pambudy.

Wisk and JAL Engineering sign MoU with City of Kaga to accelerate advanced air mobility in Japan

Wisk Aero has signed a three-party MoU with The City of Kaga, Ishikawa, Japan, and Japan Airlines’ subsidiary, JAL Engineering to establish opportunities for introducing autonomous air travel in Japan.
Wisk is developing the first autonomous, passenger-carrying electric vertical takeoff and landing( eVTOL) air taxi in the US.
Designated by the Japanese government as a national strategic special zone. Kaga City has established the Next-Generation Air Mobility Consortium in Japan – making Kaga City an ideal location for the development, testing and validation of autonomous air mobility. its special zone designation, provides an ideal environment for us to explore and demonstrate the benefits of our Gen 6 aircraft. This partnership is a significant step towards building the necessary ecosystem for autonomous flight in Japan.”
Riku Miyamoto, Mayor of Kaga City, said:“ Kaga City will strongly support the establishment of an operations base and support the construction of an AAM operation model in collaboration with JALEC.
