Amazon launches infrastructure region in Taiwan

Amazon is launching an AWS Asia Pacific( Taipei) Region – planning to invest more than $ 5 billion to support the construction, connection, operation, and maintenance of its data centers in Taiwan.

As part of its commitment to contribute to the development of digital skills, AWS plans to hire and develop additional local personnel to operate and support the new region.

Lyca Mobile announces Australian expansion plans along with investment in eSIM digital services

Lyca Mobile is making a major expansion of its Australia operation

– investing heavily in new digital service channels, continued collaboration with retail partnerships and online services across the country.
Lyca’ s Australian operation has been operating since 2010, providing millions of customers with reliable and affordable connectivity.
Lyca operates across Vodafone’ s advanced 4G and 5G network which now covers around 1,000,000 square kilometers of Australia, reaching 98.4 % of the population.
The investment will include focusing on further improving Lyca’ s capacity and capability, enhancing the customer experience through innovative digital platforms.
Lyca is at the forefront of adopting technologies such as eSIM, allowing customers to activate and manage their mobile services remotely, switch between networks seamlessly and reduce environmental impact by eliminating the need for physical SIM cards.
Additionally, the company announced its intention to continue partnering with some of Australia’ s leading retail providers.
